Beginner’s Palmistry

Course Overview:

When we say that your fate is in your hands, we’re really not exaggerrating – the human hand carries in it the sum of internal impressions on the individual, and is one of the most accessible oracles in the occult world.  Learning to interpret the hand and its subtle communications can lead to incredible growth and self-knowledge, that we may know ourselves and therefore know the world.

Palmistry is a long-standing staple of occult traditions around the world, and as such, it comes in many unique systems and with much development of the practice that has occurred over time.  This abundance of development gives palmistry a bit of an S-shaped learning curve, which allows beginners to easily begin to increase their skill and knowledge in this area, but which requires immense effort to bridge the gap from novice to intermediate and beyond.

This class has been designed so that, upon completion of the course, someone with minimal prior knowledge of the Palmistry tradition will be able to track the developments of their palms in an informed way, glean information and knowledge from the symbolism in the palms, and better understand their role in the crafting of their own destiny.  Students successfully completing this course will be well-prepared to advance their study, both further into Palmistry as well as broader occultism.

Course Outline:

This course typically ranges from 8 – 10 hours depending on student pacing and class size, and is completed over the course of 4 –  5 weeks unless the class opts for more frequent meetings.  We begin with learning the theory, which is roughly 80 – 90% of the structure.  The final 10 – 20% is used on practice, workshopping, and further development.  The topics covered are as follows:
